Even amid high interest rates that have cooled much of the luxury market, Hollywood’s leading real estate agents continue to drive record-breaking sales. The Hollywood Reporter’s annual roundup features the top 35 brokers who, despite industry challenges, have propelled the elite sector forward through tenacity and expertise.
This year, L.A.’s luxury real estate market faced some of its toughest conditions in recent memory. Constrained by California’s “mansion tax,” persistently high interest rates, and scarce inventory, the industry saw sales dip for many, yet the brokers on this list managed to thrive.
The agents chosen were evaluated on metrics including total sales volume (from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024), media presence, and the caliber of celebrity clientele.
Through resilience and strategy, these agents have continued to set records. “2024 was an incredible year for those who stayed in the market,” says Cooper Mount from Carolwood. “Buyers with patience secured exceptional deals, and sellers with premium properties saw record-setting prices.”
Though confidence remains high, agents look forward to the future. “With interest rates expected to decline into 2025,” predicts Sandro Dazzan of The Agency, “we anticipate buyers who’ve been waiting on the sidelines to re-enter the market and make offers.”
